                        Update/Notice for Station 3 building project    

   The board of directors named Mike Davis (internal employee) as project manager for Station 3
   at their regular board meeting on March 18, 2010.  The building of station 3 has been delayed until
   after the November, 2010

     1. The Windsor-Severance Fire Protection District Board of Directors has taken a conservative approach  to delay the building of Station 3 until after the November election. The project will be re-evaluated after November.

     2. The decision to delay was made because of the impending legislation of Proposition 101 and Amendments 60, 61 which if approved, will have a severe economic impact on all Colorado special districts.

     3. The directors understand and appreciate the concern of the citizens to have a station located on the west side of the district but also feel the fiscal responsibility to the district as a whole has to be maintained to protect the quality of the emergency response which the district now provides.
